Position Overview

Position Overview

We seek a dynamic AI Instructor to design and deliver an immersive, hands-on curriculum for cohorts of up to 15 beginners. You will guide students through live coding sessions, ensure individual code ownership, and coach them in crafting professional presentations. Instructors may optionally organize learners into 3 to 5 small teams, each customizing a shared codebase with unique features.

• Develop a core AI project codebase that runs out of the box for true beginners

• Define mechanisms: individual forks or team-based variations that guarantee each student’s personal contribution

• Lead real-time coding demonstrations in Python and a modern ML framework (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)

• Break down AI fundamentals (data ingestion, model training, evaluation) into accessible modules

• Advise students on Git and GitHub workflows: forking, branching, committing, and pull requests

• Guide each student to produce a 5–10 minute recorded PowerPoint demo of their code contribution

• Prepare students to articulate their project and learning journey in college interviews and personal statements

Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD degree (completed or in progress) from an Ivy League institution OR currently working in a Fortune 100 tech company. 

• Demonstrated experience shipping AI/ML solutions in research, industry, or open-source projects

• Proficiency in Python and at least one major ML framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent)

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a passion for teaching novice learners
